A leader in specialty coffee for over 40 years, Paul’s passion is working with people and helping folks find their perfect cup. He believes that quality of life on coffee farms = quality coffee.
Director of Operations & Co-Founder
Joan works with our staff to make sure we’re running smoothly and efficiently at every step of the way. She takes her coffee with milk, and is not shy about it!
Jonah brings a wealth of coffee experience to our customers in the Bay Area, and works with our green coffee buying team to ensure that our customers are getting the finest coffees available. Jonah’s favorite drink? A nice cappuccino with light-roast espresso.
Roastmaster & Quality Manager
Jacob has been perfecting the art of roasting since he joined our team in 2007. He is responsible for our green coffee purchases, has received top scores for his roasts, and cups our coffees daily to ensure every roast is perfect. His new favorite brewing method is Softbrew.
Classically trained and uncommonly passionate about design, Marchelo has been the creative force behind our marketing efforts since he joined the team in 2014. He takes his coffee black, and his chai with espresso.
