A sneak peek at our new roastery

Our New Roastery

In the Summer of 2010, our roasting facility and office building burned down. Thanks to many of our customers and partners, we were able to get back on our feet quickly, but for the past 3 years, our staff has been split between two temporary buildings about 2 miles away from each other – an office where sales and marketing staff work, and the warehouse-turned-production facility where we currently roast and package our coffees.

Our new roastery has been under construction for almost a year now, and we’re getting closer and closer to moving into it! It will include an improved production floor, a large cupping lab and additional space where we will be able to host public tastings, meetings and events. We can’t wait to have you over for a visit once it’s finished!

I used to Wine and Dine at the Noyo River Inn, in 1973 shortly after I retired from the Navy and moved to Ft. Bragg to begin civilian life. I’ve been enjoying your various roasts ever since it first began showing up on grocer’s shelves. The first was bought in Mendocino, at (then) Mendosa’s. I have had your coffee shipped to me as far away as Diego Garcia, BIOT, and currently here to Gulfport, MS. Continued luck with your fine work. Bob

My husband and I travel to the North Coast frequently, and have visited your previous facility on numerous occasions in the past. We were saddened to hear of the fire, and we look forward to visiting the new roastery once its up and running. We have been subscribers to your coffee delivery for many years, and plan to be for many more. Best of luck to you.

Wow! I had no idea about the fire. Kept ordering coffee, coffee kept coming, so I thought all was well. Is the new facility still in Noyo Harbor or elsewhere? I get to the coast about once every five years – last time was a couple of years ago for my brother’s (latest) wedding at Caspar. But we didn’t really stop in Fort Bragg. Keep roasting!! We all need your stuff.
