Thanksgiving Coffee is committed to ethical trading and responsible farming methods that protect pollinator health.
What is it?
A unique and mutually beneficial network designed to support Bee Centric Organizations. Most environmental organizations need three things: Vision, Volunteers and Money. We can help with the money.
Since 1996 our partnership experience with National Organizations like the American Birding Association, Defenders of Wildlife, Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International, and Global Exchange, has shown us the potential of fundraising with coffee.
We are proud to expand this program to help support your non-profit organization dedicated to Bee survival and preservation of all pollinators. We have raised $600,000 for our non profit partners, and now we want to partner with you.
How Does This Benefit Me as a B Corp?
Ready to Re-certify? – Purchasing Bee Bold coffee and following other recommendations in the Bee Bold Toolkit addresses B Corp metrics in all measurement areas (Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers). In a nutshell, being a B Corp means building systems that care for all stakeholders—that’s what this is all about.
Employee Engagement – By aligning your actions with your mission, vision, and values, you reinforce what you stand for. The Bee Bold Campaign provides you with an opportunity to do this, as well as a pathway for employees to engage with your larger mission. You can allow employees to vote on where to donate Bee Bold coffee revenues and/or provide company time to create bee sanctuaries. The options are endless.
Enhances Reputation – Engaging in the Bee Bold Campaign publicly reinforces the social and environmental responsibility that defines you as a company to employees, vendors, and all your customers.
Community Engagement – The Bee Bold Campaign allows you to give back to your community by supporting local bee-centric non-profits.
Protect Pollinators – By protecting pollinators, going beyond reducing harm to creating positive environmental benefit, you help ensure a healthy food supply now and in the future. No food supply = No humans (i.e., employees, vendors, or customers).
Why fund raise with coffee?
It’s no secret. People love coffee, and they tend to drink it regularly, which means they are constantly in the market for fresh coffee. Through a partnership with Thanksgiving Coffee Company, your organization can reach the growing market of conscious consumers who have demonstrated their desire to support this worthy cause with their coffee purchases — all while supporting the family farmers and cooperatives who sustainably grow our coffee beans around the world. It is a true win-win.
How does it work?
There are three basic ways to use this coffee to help raise funds for Pollinators:
Your organization can purchase a case(s) at wholesale and offer Bee Bold Coffee in your break room and or offer the packages to your employees as a bonus and commitment to pollinators.
We can explore options of co-branding and cross pollinating for good within a B2B collaboration.
Send your employees to our web store and we send 20% of their purchase price to Pollinator Protector Organizations. Or they can enter a coupon code for the organization of their choice. These rebates are then mailed quarterly (checks from TCC) to that organization with a full accounting.
How do I get started?
